2. What data we process

• Information provided in the request forms: name, phone number, email address, the equipment or service selected, the content of your message, and any other information you include in your request - for example, the site address and the preferred hire period.
• Marketing consent, if you tick the box to receive news.
• Technical data: for security purposes, the website hosting provider may temporarily process your IP address and browser data in server logs.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to your request and preparing a quote - Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Sending news and offers - only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); you may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@siaostland.lv.
• Security and prevention of misuse - our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Who has access to your data

• SIA "Ostland" employees responsible for the relevant service area.
• Processors that keep the website running: Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form processing; any transfer of data outside the EU/EEA takes place using the safeguards provided for by law) and Google (email service for receiving and forwarding form submissions).
• We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep your data

• Requests and related correspondence - 2 years after the last contact.
• Consent to receive news - until it is withdrawn.
• If a transaction is concluded, the related documents are kept for the periods required by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, to object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format and to withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@siaostland.lv. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).

7. Cookies and third-party content

• Our website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
• The page embeds a Google map showing our location. When it loads, Google may process your IP address and use cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
• The page footer links to our TikTok, Instagram and Facebook profiles; those platforms' own privacy terms apply there.
• The website's fonts are hosted on our own server and are not loaded from third-party servers.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data. Access to data is limited to those employees who need it to perform their duties.
